Music Of Luca Massaglia

Luca_Massaglia.JPGLuca Massaglia was born in Torino (Italy).
He earned the Organ and Organ Composition degree with top marks (110/110) at Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Torino.
He attended many international masterclasses held by Ludger Lohmann, Louis Robilliard, Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini and Bernard Winsemius, with this last one at the prestigious Internationale Zomeracademie voor Organisten (International Summer Academy for Organists) of Haarlem (The Netherlands).
He was given private lessons by Prof. Louis Robilliard (at the Cavaillé-Coll organ of Saint-François-de-Sales church of Lyon) and by Prof. Arturo Sacchetti.

He has been organist at Madonna degli Angeli Sanctuary of Torino since 2001.
He was Artistic Director of Note per la Sindone (Notes for the Holy Shroud) Organ Festival (promoted by Unione Musicale of Turin and financed by Regione Piemonte – Culture Committee) held at Turin in May 2010 on occasion of the celebrations for the Solemn Ostension of the Holy Shroud.

Luca has performed concerts as soloist in Italy and abroad: Austria, England, Estonia, France, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, U.S.A. and Wales.
