Founded in 1994, Evensong
Music started out as a dream to allow me to
publish my own music without the hassles of dealing with large
publishing companies. Things were slow at first - one must
promote in
order to get sales, and I was too busy. Nine years later, the
promotion was begun in earnest, and sales have risen dramatically.
We
have seen phenomenal growth in the last two years thanks to being able
to now accept credit card orders and the addition of new composers to
our roster
I am happy to report that we have added composers Steve Best, David Gotch, Robert Lind , Randy Runyon and most recently Godwin Sadoh to our roster. Also, do note we have a substantial and continually growing Reprint catalog, which contains mostly French music that has passed into the Public Domain.
On this site you will find several sections, each devoted to a different instrument or area of composition. There are links for audio files and PDF demos of many of the pieces, as well as some links to take you to my personal site and favorites. There are also organ sample sets for Martin Dyde's Hauptwerk virtual organ software.
