Jean Vadon (1887-1973) was a pupil of both Guilmant and Vierne and a professor at the Schola Cantorum. Also during his life he served in Paris as an organist; first for St.-Ferdinand-des-Ternes, and later for St-Jean-Evangeliste, Montmartre. He wrote a number of organ works, most all of which were published in collections or journals.
